“ Truly a hidden gem in Washington County. Fantastic food and the menu has something for everyone. Huge bar with tons of options. Indoor and outdoor seating for a nice day. They host lots of events and live bands. Shoutout to Caroline for doing a fantastic job and taking care of our group reservation and got our lost sunglasses back to us! ”

But we had ended up with 3 blown out tires from driving a backroad in Avella, the safest place for us to pull over was The Bull Pen. Someone ran us off the road. We tried fixing our tires in their parking lot. Waitress came out, we thought we'd be told we'd have to get off the premises if we weren't going to buy anything. No the opposite. She came out put out some road cones to give us extra space. Told us to come inside if we needed to cool down and get a drink. Free drink. Thank you so much to The Bull Pens owner and staff. We really appreciate you being so kind to us on a rough day. We will be back a couple Sundays from now to enjoy some food, and good atmosphere. ”

“ Good place always crowded nice clean place good food. You guys really stepped up your game on your food. It was excellent. Server has a horrible attitude never checked back asked for another large beer when she brought the food. Brought a tiny cup as we were finishing up. Never did bring silverware or the water I asked for. ”
